A lot has been reported ever since the news of Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor being tested for Coronavirus broke out. The singer has denied all accusations of coming in contact with 300-400 people amid 3 to 4 gatherings post her return from London on 9th March, 2020. Now, official reports state that she came in contact with a total of 162 people and below are all the details.
In a recent interview soon after her shocking announcement, Kanika alleged that she had called each and every person she came in contact with as soon as she noticed the symptoms of being hit with Coronavirus. While Vasundhara Raje and son Dushyant Singh, who were present at a dinner party with the Baby Doll singer, have been declared negative; several others are still under observation.

If a recent report by Times Of India is to be believed, as many as 162 people came in contact with Kapoor, and 63 of them have been tested negative so far. “Health teams listed 162 persons, including 35 from Kanpur, who came in touch with Kanika in these social gatherings. Swab samples of these persons are being collected and sent for testing at state designated labs. Of these, the reports of 63 have come so far,” reads the report.

It is also being said that the search for others who might have got in contact with Kanika at various social gatherings are still on. Overall, it is around 120-130 people who have been identified and tests have been conducted upon.
Meanwhile, Kanika’s family members have undergone COVID-19 test too, and their reports have come out to be negative as well. Her father in a recent conversation also revealed that the medical official has stated that his daughter has ‘mild Coronavirus’ and home quarantine of around 5-6 days will bring her back in form.

Multiple FIRs are said to have been filed against Kanika Kapoor for not abiding by travel instructions.
