KamaSutra Model Viveka Babajee Found Dead

In typical Bollywood style, former model Viveka Babajee, best known for featuring in the bold KamaSutra advertisements, was found dead at her Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 25, 2010. Reports suggest that the model hanged herself and left behind several notes. The police are investigating the persons named in the notes.

Viveka originally hailed from Mauritius and was the Miss Mauritius 1993. She even had a brief stint in Bollywood with the 2002 film Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat. Viveka was engaged to Rohit Jugraj, the director of James.

Bollywood stars and celebs condoled the 37-year-old’s untimely death. Actor Dia Mirza tweeted, “Viveka was one of the nicest people. Kind, helpful, warm and friendly. I can still see her jiving with a smile  a free spirit…RIP Viveka.”
