With the month of love entering into its last week, let’s have a sneak peak as to what the final Friday of the month has in store for the movie goers. This Friday promises to be fairly entertaining with two different genres of movies with Abhishek Kapoor’s, Kai Po Che and Anand Kumar’s, Zila Ghaziabad all set to hit the silver screens. While Kai Po Che is a story about friendship, politics and cricket, Zila Ghaziabad is a political action thriller.

After trying his hands in acting, filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor made his debut directorial venture in Bollywood with 2008 rock musical film, Rock On!. The movie received accolades from critics and viewers alike, marking Abhishek’s entry as a director, a hit, in the industry. The director is now back after a span of almost five years with his second directorial run, Kai Po Che. The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel, ‘The 3 Mistakes Of My Life’ and stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh, Raj Kumar Yadav and Amrita Puri in the lead roles.

Kai Po Che is an ode to Indian companionship and brotherhood with a dash of romance and humor. The film is co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur under UTV Motion Pictures. KPC! also represented India at the Berlin Film Festival 2013 and received good responses from the viewers.

Zila Ghaziabad on the other hand, holds an extremely different concept being a political action drama. The movie will mark the third directorial venture of filmmaker Anand Kumar after 2007 movie, Delhii Heights and 2010 film, Jugaad. The movie is based on the real life incident of a gang war that struck between two dominant rival groups of Satbir Gurjar and Mahender Fauji back in the 90s. The war took place in Ghaziabad and was brought to an end by a fearless police officer, Pritam Singh Chauhan.

Being a multi-starrer movie, Zila Ghaziabad features Sanjay Dutt portraying the role of Inspector Pritam Singh Chauhan along with Arshad Warsi and Vivek Oberoi as the rival group heads. The movie will also witness the presence of actress Minissha Lamba, actors Ravi Kishan, Sunil Grover and Paresh Rawal playing pivotal roles.
