In a time when the world is grappling to fight against the coronavirus pandemic, some production houses have wasted no time registering the titles revolving around the coronavirus. What’s more shocking are reports of Eros International registering the title, Corona Pyaar Hai with the Indian Film and Television Producers Council last week.
Well, there is no doubt that the titled resembles Rakesh Roshan’s film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, which also marked the debut of his son and actor Hrithik Roshan alongside Ameesha Patel. Now reacting to the news of the title of Corona Pyaar Hai, a visibly miffed Rakesh Roshan has been quoted by Mid-day saying, “It’s a mockery of the situation that the world is combating. It’s childish and immature to do such a thing at this time. We should ignore these people as they are not thinking straight.”

Roshan further went on to say, “There is no similarity between the two films. Even with regard to the names, their title Corona Pyaar Hai has a different meaning to it. So, I cannot do anything about it.”
Well, it certainly is a fact to ponder upon as to why would someone choose to register a title to similar to the name of Coronavirus and Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, especially in such turbulent times. Just a thought….
