According to the reports of Times Now, a local Mumbai based doctor has claimed that Kabir Singh shows doctors in the bad light and has demanded to stop the screening of the film.

Reportedly, the doctor has filed a complaint with the Mumbai police and has additionally written a letter to the central Health Minister, Information and Broadcasting Ministry, State Health Ministry, and the Censor Board of Film Certification against the screening of Kabir Singh.

Kabir Singh shows Shahid Kapoor in the role of a surgeon who operates patients while under the influence of drugs. The film has been under the radar of feminists for allegedly promotion “toxic masculinity” & “misogyny”

Meanwhile, Kabir Singh has done a business of 88.37 crores in 4 days and is all set to enter the 100 crores club today. The film managed an excellent weekend and passed the Monday test with flying colours.

Talking about his experience of working in Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor earlier said, “‘Kabir Singh‘ has been an extremely challenging film for me emotionally and physically. Since I had three distinct looks in the film, I had to transform myself to quite an extent.”

He further added, “I had to smoke cigarettes and grow my beard. However, since my character demanded it, I did not think twice before doing what my director wanted me to do. I like doing roles that challenge me.”
