Rhea Chakraborty has been making news since morning for her Enforcement Directorate probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. While we learned how her plea for postponing the probe was rejected, as per the latest update the actress has appeared in front of the ED. Confirming the same is her lawyer Satish Maneshinde, and below is what he has to say.
A quick recap – On Thursday night, Rhea in a mail to the Enforcement Directorate requested them to differ her inquiry. She told the ED that the case is still running in the Supreme Court. But to her dismay, ED did not accept the request and ordered her to present herself on the scheduled day and time.

Now as per Satish Maneshinde, Rhea Chakraborty has appeared in front of the ED on the time and date that was appointed her. A video of the actor accompanied by her brother entering the ED’s office has also gone viral.

In a statement, Maneshinde, Rhea’s lawyer said, “Rhea Chakraborty, is a law-abiding citizen. In view of the fact that ED has informed the media that the request to postpone the attendance is rejected … she has appeared in the ED at the appointed time and date.”

Rhea is being probed by ED for the Money Laundering case filed against her. It was alleged that she spent Sushant Singh Rajput’s Rs 15 crores, in an FIR filed by the late actor’s father KK Singh.
However, after Rhea Chakraborty, ED has also ordered Sushant Singh Rajput’s friends Siddharth Pithani to summon himself. Pithani will be probed on August 8, in Hyderabad.
