This week the only Hindi film releasing is Main Krishna Hoon. A live-animation film, it has Juhi Chawla in the lead (with Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in cameos) and has been ready for quite some time now. After been postponed 3-4 times, it would be a miracle if it indeed manages a release for itself this week. With zero promotion not really helping its cause, it can’t be expected to survive beyond a week even if it eventually makes it to theatres.

Other release of the week is Life Of Pi which is basically a Hollywood flick. In India some level of interest has been generated though due to presence of Irrfan Khan and Tabu. However, since the film doesn’t quite revolve around their characters, it can’t be expected to find a widespread audience base for itself. Though visually it has said to be an excellent cinematic experience, from the content perspective it appears to be catering to the niche audience. At least in the Indian market, one doesn’t quite see the film doing many wonders, more so since there hasn’t been much of publicity drive either.
This means that Diwali releases Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar would have another week to cash in on before Talaash followed by Khiladi 786 take away entire screen space in fortnight to follow.
