Hollywood actor, filmmaker and martial artist Jackie Chan, who has worked over 56 years in the industry has finally won his 1st Oscar award.
On Saturday night, the 62-year old actor was feted with the honorary Oscar at the eighth annual Governors Awards at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles.

After accepting the award, Jackie shared his memories about watching Oscars with parents and said, “My dad always said, ‘Son, you get so many movie awards in the world, when are you going to get one of these?’ Then I just look at my dad. ‘Ha, ha, ha. Dad, I only make comedy action movies.”
Jackie also expressed his joyous feelings on Twitter and wrote, “So honored and happy and lost for words!”
