So it was Siddharth Anand’s idea to sculpt Hrithik Roshan’s dance in Michael Jackson’s style. Though the smoldering Roshan lad wasn’t very sure if he could pull it off, the first look of Bang Bang‘s Title Song video is enough to prove him wrong. He did Jackson with oomph.
Talking of it Hrithik told the media, “When Sid told me why don’t we do a Michael Jackson in the film, my instant reaction was ‘Dude, Are you mad?’ Doing Michael Jackson is impossible. I will take a month to rehearse. I honestly thought it was a wrong idea because you cannot match up to the master of God Of Dance.”

Hrithik added that he found conviction in the fact that his tribute is coming out of much love and great respect. He continued with, “Then I realized that I have so much love and respect; like many I have idolized him all my life. I have so much love and respect for all the contribution he has made, it doesn’t matter how I dance and it doesn’t matter if I can match up. I am going to this for my love for the man who started me off in my journey of dance. I have done this in my own style. I have not done it like Michael Jackson but it’s his steps in my style. That’s what set me free. If you do something for love, it sets you free.”
Hrithik-Katrina starrer Bang Bang is all set to release on 2nd October and is the official remake of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer Knight and Day.
