The trailer of Bhoot: The Haunted Ship was unveiled today. Directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, the film stars Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. Along with the lead star, the producers Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan were also present at the event today.
Bhoot trailer received a rave response from the fans and it was also trending on the social media. At the trailer launch filmmaker, Bhanu Pratap Singh was asked if the film is influenced by 2002 Hollywood horror film titled Ghost Ship.

Singh told the reporters, “It’s not. It’s entirely a different film.” Karan Johar joked and asked, “Are you sure?” and everyone laughed. To which Shashank Khaitan replied, “I’m also sure. The first thing I did was I saw Ghost Ship.”
KJo further joked, Originality is our strength wo bhi nahi hai. Lekin poori tarah copy nahi karte.” Listening to Karan’s statement everyone erupted in laughter present at the trailer launch.

About being a part of Bhoot, Vicky Kaushal said, “I never thought I’ll do horror or I’ll be interested in doing so. But when I read the script, I really fell in love because I got scared at the script level itself. I thought the audiovisual experience of this story will be good.”
Bhoot: The Haunted Ship is all set to hit the screens on February 21, 2020.
