Sonakshi Sinha started her Bollywood journey in 2010 with Salman Khan’s Dabangg. The actress became a household name after playing the iconic character of Rajjo and her dialogue, “Thappad se dar nahi lagta saab, pyaar se lagta hai,” became the new obsession.

The actress was last seen in Dabangg 3. Her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha and brother Luv Sinha are already into politics. In a recent interview, she opened up on her views on joining politics.

Sonakshi Sinha revealed that she doesn’t have any plans to join politics but she is very happy that her brother chose to join it. She said, in an interview with Times Of India, “I am very happy that Luv took the step because he has the aptitude for it. He is well connected and informed about what’s going on in politics. I think he did a very good job while he was at it.”

Sonakshi also reacted to Luv’s defeat. She said, “Of course, the outcome wasn’t what we would have wanted, but I am proud of him for the way he handled himself and the connection he made with the people of Bihar. I am happy he took the step as we need younger people to get into politics.”

Sonakshi Sinha also opened up on her new year plans. She said, “I usually take off and travel to some new place to bring in the New Year, though, this year I don’t know if I will be able to do that. After a long break due to the pandemic, I might just resume the shoot of my digital project. Maybe, I will go to somewhere close by.”

Sonakshi Sinha will next be seen in Bhuj: The Pride Of India. The film also stars Ajay Devgn as Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, Sanjay Dutt plays the character of Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari, who helped the army during the war.
