The India-Pakistan stand off has been causing a lot of rift in Bollywood and is turning out to be a nightmare for Pakistani artists. While there has been a strong support for banning of Pakistani artists in India from the government, huge pressure has been building up on directors and producers who have worked with them in upcoming films.
If reports are to be believed, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who was set to make her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees will now be replaced. The actress who is known for her popular serial Humsafar which earlier featured on Zindagi channel, may after all not be a part of Raees.

Buzz is, that due to the pressure building up on the producers, they have now taken a tough call of replacing Khan. Since Raees is set to release in January next year, the makers now have to find a fresh actress in less than two weeks to prep for the reshoot.
