However, the duo kept their relationship private until 2021, when Rahul posted a lovey-dovey birthday note for his girlfriend on Instagram. They took their relationship to the next step and tied the knot in 2023 in the presence of 100 guests.
Suniel Shetty hints at Athiya’s pregnancy
As most know, Suniel Shetty is currently busy judging the dance reality show Dance Deewane along with Madhuri Dixit. The Hera Pheri actor was teased by host Bharti Singh about what a cool ‘nana’ (grandfather) he would be.

To this, Suniel Shetty responded, “Yes, next season when I come I will be walking on the stage like a Nana.” His response has sparked rumors that Athiya Shetty may be pregnant and expecting her first child with KL Rahul. The actress loves baggy clothes, so it won’t be difficult to hide that bump. But an official confirmation is awaited.
It is to be noted that Athiya was recently seen at an event by Bvlgari. She donned a golden pantsuit by Anamika Khanna. Now that we look back at her attire, it’s difficult to determine if she’s hiding her bump. Only time will tell!

Athiya Shetty upcoming projects
On the professional front, Athiya Shetty made her Bollywood debut alongside Sooraj Pancholi in Hero (2015). The film was backed by Salman Khan. She then went on to be a part of Mubarakan, which also starred Ileana D’Cruz, Arjun Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor.
She was last seen in the comedy-drama Motichoor Chaknachoor opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film received a mixed response from critics as well as viewers.
What is KL Rahul upto these days?
KL Rahul is currently a part of IPL 2024. He is the captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The cricketer made a lot of noise when he was replaced as the captain for a match against Punjab Kings (PBKS). But it was later revealed that the sportsman was injured, due to which he was included in the playing 11 as an impact substitute.
