Irrfan has done some amazing work in the West also with directors like Ang Lee, Danny Boyle and Colin Trevorrow. He has done films like Life Of Pi, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-man and Slumdog Millionaire.

Union Cabinet Minister, Smriti Irani also mourned the loss of Hindi Medium actor and tweeted, “He etched every character in our memories with sheer talent. From the passion of Pan Singh Tomar to a floundering father in Angrezi Medium #IrrfanKhan was an actor to behold. How do you mourn his passing away for he breathes in the characters he left behind .. Om Shanti”.

We have truly lost a legend today and this is one of the saddest moments in the history of Hindi cinema.
