Recently reports of Emraan Hashmi being roped in for Raaz 4 came as a shock, simply because the actor had been clear on multiple platforms that sequels are tiring him out. The actor isn’t exactly keen on sequels anymore and hence he is working on films like Raja Natwarlal, Mr X and an international project too.
In a recent chat with Koimoi when we asked him whether he has gone back on his decision of deliberately staying away from sequel, in context of Raaz 4, the actor told us, “Raaz 4 is in a very nascent stage. There’s nothing happening on it at the moment. Probably we will go ahead and green signal things once and if everything comes together, like the cast of the film and the script. I am not doing any sequel at this moment.”

Hashmi continued with, “All these films are in very early stage and we are in talks. Whenever it will happen, we will let you know.”

Hashmi seemed more excited about the projects at hand. After the success of Ek Villain, Mohit Suri will soon begin work on Hamari Adhuri Kahaani which will star Emraan, Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles. That is one of the most crucial scripts the actor is keen on currently.
Emraan also added that his international film is currently being prepped for festivals and will release in India by January-February of 2015.
