She is Bollywood’s ultimate beauty when it comes to proportionate figure, it is hard to beat Shilpa Shetty. Her kamar has been the talk of the town ever since the actress made her presence felt in the industry. However, unlike Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (who is often referred to as the World’s Most Beautiful Woman) who incurred a lot of criticism from the paparazzi for being out of shape especially after her appearances on the Cannes Red Carpet, Shetty did not slip into a life of oblivion after childbirth. Back on the crease within merely 6 months of her delivery, the actress was boldly judging the reality dance show Nach Baliye and had everyone going gaga over her fitness.

In an interview with Koimoi, Shetty spoke extensively about her fitness regime. ” Post pregnancy fat was but natural. All the ghee and the butter remained in my system. By the time my son Viaan was born, I was 80 kilos and couldn’t look at myself in the mirror.”

She continued, “I had put on 25 kilos and couldn’t recognize myself at all. When you are a former Volleyball player, and have remained constant at 60 kilos since forever, that figure is bizarre. I never looked the way I did after pregnancy.”

So how did she finally get back in shape. The actress said, “I am not someone who believes in dieting. I believe in balanced diet. There is a stark difference between the two. And most importantly, I believe in willpower. Thankfully, I have a very strong willpower. There is nothing that I have wanted to achieve and not attained.”

The actress who is donning the role of the producer for the first time is all excited about Dishkiyaoon, which she said was a film that will bring back the dialogue-baazi in films but with a tinge of realism. The film is all set to release on Friday and stars Harman Baweja and Sunny Deol in lead roles.
