Ranveer Singh was one boisterous, wild character when he entered the industry. Three and a half years later, he has delivered a few admirable performances and is hailed for his impulsive acting. Once known for his on the face avatar, the actor now filters his opinions and operates with a certain amount of tact.
Singh admits to the same and says, “It has changed in my first year. I had no idea how to interact with the media or what to say and what not to say on a public platform. I’d say just about anything that came to my mind without any filter whatsoever. It would get me into trouble. People would get offended. I don’t have that sort of time of the day for such things. I don’t want that nuisance value. I don’t want to be stressed out for no reason. It is worthless. I learnt that there are some things that have to be filtered. Fortunately for me since my first year, I learnt it. It’s been 3 and a half years in the industry and for the past 2 and a half years, I have learnt a certain amount of tact. That is though only 10% of me. 90% I still speak whatever I feel. But yes, there is a filter. I do understand now, that you cannot speak on a public platform, the way you’ll speak to your best friend in the confines of your living room. There is a difference and hence developed a certain amount of tact.”

Continuing with the tact, the actor maintained he is single and definitely not dating Empress actress Deepika Padukone. He said, “No I am single. I am definitely very much single. I might get into a relationship who knows! Deepika is a very special person in my life and I admire her alot.”

The duo have been spotted at multiple places together. Deepika was snapped on the cruise liner where Ranveer was shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do but the rumored couple refuse to admit their personal relationship to the media. The otherwise outspoken and energetic Ranveer too guards it without letting out anything, keeping the filter at guard!
