How Did Amit Sadh Bag A Role In Sultan?; Why Was Ayushmann Replaced?

That the ‘Kai Po Che‘ actor Amit Sadh will be playing the younger version of Salman Khan’s character in the upcoming biographical sports drama ‘Sultan‘ is no new to the world. But did you know that actor Ayushmann Khurrana was the maker’s first choice for the role?

Well, Amit Sadh obviously impressed the makers with his acting while auditioning for the role, however, earlier they were keen to cast Ayushmann Khurrana. But, apparently Ayushmann didn’t consider the offer.

According to a report by Midday, before Amit Sadh’s audition Aditya Chopra had a discussion with Ayushmann for the role, but Ayushmann felt that he would be overshadowed by Salman Khan’s presence and so he chose not to be a part of ‘Sultan’.

Of course, Amit Sadh and Ayushmann Khurrana have chosen to stay quiet about this topic.

‘Sultan‘ which is slated to release on Eid this year also stars Anushka Sharma and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles.
