Earlier this week, Akshay teased fans with a picture showcasing the entire cast from the Housefull franchise, further hinting to the upcoming instalment. Now, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is setting the records right regarding the cast!
Speculations had already started regarding the fifth instalment. It has been previously seen that Akshay Kumar has not been interested in being a part of the sequel of his movies, for example, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and also there were rumours about Hera Pheri franchise, but Housefull seems to be different!
Earlier, it was also being said that the makers are trying to rope in Deepika Padukone who was seen in the first part, and along with the major actors, thus making their dream cast! However, Sajid Nadiadwala in a conversation with Deccan Chronicle has narrated an altogether different story as he revealed, “We are yet to script Housefull 5. We hope to crack that soon. Only then will the casting be decided. But yes, Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh are the core cast of Housefull and they will continue as such.”

Furthermore, about Akshay Kumar mandatorily being a part, the producer added, “There would be no Housefull series without Akshay Kumar. He was constantly working on his character, improvising his lines. He had a ball playing the evil Bala. He was a hundred percent there. We cannot have a Housefull film without him. It’s impossible.”
Meanwhile, Housefull 4 was a reincarnation comedy, also starring Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Pulkit Samrat, and Pooja Hegde in lead.
The movie also witnessed Chunky Panday and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
