Ranu Mondal who became an internet sensation overnight is garnering praise from all around the country for her melodious voice. From singing at Superstar Singer to Himesh Reshammiya’s upcoming film, Happy Hardy And Heer; she has come a long way. She first sung ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ opposite Himesh and song became popular over night. People started recognizing her talent and Himesh got a lot of love by the fans for this act of kindness. Now, Himesh has recreated his very popular song ‘Aashiqui Mein Teri’ from the film, 36 China Town with Ranu Mondal for his upcoming film and fans just couldn’t keep calm.

Himesh shared a glimpse of the song on Instagram and wrote, “Production of the song is in progress, this is just a scratch, thank you, dear people, of the globe, for bringing this unadulterated smile on Ranu ji s face, her versatility and confidence is growing with each song. The recreation of Aashiqui Mein Teri from happy hardy and heer is a proof. Lots of love, wishing all of you a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.”

Ranu Mondal, who used to sing on Ranaghat Station (West Bengal) became famous for singing ‘Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai’ by Lata Mangeshkar. Somebody recorded her singing at the station and put it on social media and that’s when Himesh invited her to Superstar Singer and her journey began. In an interview with Indian Express, Ranu expressed how thankful she’s to Himesh for all that he has done and said, “This was the first time that someone trained me. I don’t know the technicalities of singing. Himesh ji treated me like a family member and gave me my life’s biggest opportunity. I cannot thank God enough for making me live a dream.”
