While Shah Rukh Khan is one of the top superstars in Bollywood, it isn’t a secret that the actor had started his career with a television show, Fauji. In a throwback interview that has gone viral, director of the show, Colonel Raj Kumar Kapoor has opened up on how he fixed SRK’s habit of being late.
Fauji featured Shah Rukh Khan as an army officer. Colonel Raj Kumar Kapoor in one of his earlier interviews had opened up on how SRK was cast for the show. The director informed that the camera liked him. He further added that King Khan’s mother was looking for a house with the help of Kapoor’s son in law.

When she told the latter that her son is an actor, he introduced Shah Rukh To Colonel Raj. Reminiscing about meeting the young Shah Rukh Khan, Colonel Raj Kumar Kapoor, according to a SpotboyE report, said, “I was looking for commandos and he turned up at my office. I took a look at him and asked ‘You are going to be a commando?’ He said ‘Yes, sir. I will do the role really well’. I took these guys, there were around eight or nine boys, for a run. I was pleasantly surprised that he (Shah Rukh Khan) hung on but half the people left and didn’t come back from the run.”

Further in the chat, Raj Kapoor opened up on Shah Rukh Khan’s habit of being late and how he fixed it. “Once, I ran behind him with a stone and that put an end to his punctuality ills,” joked the director.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero in 2018. Since then his next release has become the biggest mystery. There have been speculations that he is in talks with filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani, Raj and DK and Atlee Kumar.
