Hera Pheri 3: Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal & Suniel Shetty To Start Shoot Without Priyadarshan?

In this world of sequels, some are useless whereas some live up to the expectations. Hera Pheri is one of those rare franchises whose both parts were loved by the audience. The trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal & Suniel Shetty are still remembered as Raju, Baburao and Sham. Priyadarshan directed the part 1 whereas Neeraj Vora came in board for the 2nd one.

Couple of years back, the makers announced Hera Pheri 3 with a different cast retaining Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal and bringing on board Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham. Neeraj Vora was directing this film but unfortunately he passed away in November last year.

Hera Pheri 3 has been going through a lot of ups and downs. Now the news flowing in is that a script has been finalised and the makers are retaining the original cast. Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty are on board and will replay their original characters from the film. But, it’s also been said that this movie will go on floors without Priyadarshan and instead Indra Kumar will take over the director’s seat.

Indra, who is known for his Masti and Dhamaal series, will be replacing Neeraj Vora and Priyadarshan for this franchise. At present Indra is busy with Total Dhamaal & it does not seems he will do anything apart from it for now. Even Akshay Kumar is busy with his prior commitments.

Even if the news is true, it’ll take at least couple of years from now to bring everyone together. Akshay Kumar at present have movies like 2.0, Gold, Kesari and Housefull 4. It would be interesting to see how he will fit in Hera Pheri 3 in between his mixed bag of projects.
