It’s been a decade since the first Harry Potter film hit the theatres and almost 13 years since the series of fantasy novels hit the shelves. Come Friday (15 July, 2011) and the final instalment in the Harry Potter film series will be out, thus ending the hugely successful franchise. Even though Draco Malfoy (played by Tom Felton) looked adorably mean in the beginning of the series, his initiation into the Death Eaters gave us gooseflesh. But his trembling wand, when he was supposed to kill Dumbledore, was enough to melt our hearts.

Alan Rickman played the menacing Potions teacher Severus Snape with such finesse that he made it difficult to even detest him!

With a huge lump in our throats, we are looking forward to “it all ends here”.
