Its birthday wishes all the way for Genelia D’Souza as the vivacious actress turns 29 today (5th August, 2010). The Mangalorean girl began her day with prayers at the church with family. She tweeted, “Beautiful start to a fabulous birthday, went to church with family, spent last night with pals and birthday wishes from so many special friends and the best birthday on Twitter from my tweethearts.”

Tinsel town was buzzing with wishes for the bubbly actress. Friends Riteish Deshmukh, Siddharth, Mugdha Godse, Madhur Bhandarkar and Shruti Hassan were among those to wish her on Twitter. The actress has had a busy year promoting brands, hosting a television show and the release of her film Chance Pe Dance with Shahid Kapoor. She’s currently shuttling between Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films; It’s My Life, Orange and Hook Ya Crook being some of them. She also made it into the Filmfare Power List 2009.
