First Look Of Rani, Vidya’s ‘No One Killed Jessica’

Check out the first look of director Rajkumar Gupta’s political thriller, No One Killed Jessica, starring Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan. The controversial Jessica Lal murder case that shook the country following the murder of the young model in Delhi forms the backdrop of the film. Interestingly, the title and the script of the film are inspired by a newspaper headline in 2006, when the Jessica Lal murder case was reopened by the Delhi High Court following nationwide protests against the acquittal of the accused by a lower court.

Vidya Balan plays the victim’s sister (based on Jessica’s sister, Sabrina Lal) while Rani Mukherjee essays the role of a reporter. The film’s music is by Amit Trivedi. No One Killed Jessica releases on 7^th January, 2011.
