Vasu Bhagnani’s F.A.L.T.U., with one film old Jackky Bhagnani and rank newcomer Pooja Gupta, has taken a far better initial than Game, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Kangna Ranaut, whether in Indore, Ahmedabad,  Delhi or Ghaziabad. The opening figures suggest that the public’s first choice is ‘F.A.L.T.U.’

The collections of ‘Game’ are, in fact, so poor that the production venture of Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Eros International already seems to have lost the box-office game to ‘F.A.L.T.U.’

Initial response to ‘F.A.L.T.U.’ was expected to be better because Char baj gaye, party abhi baaki hai song had caught the fancy of the youth all over India. But it was not expected that ‘Game’ would lose ground so badly. Its lack of hit music and dull promotional content seems to have done it in.

Take a look at some of the figures of the opening shows of the two films today (Friday, April 1st, 2011). And as much as it might seem so, this is no April Fools joke:
