As Paresh Rawal’s son and young actor Aditya Rawal got chatty with us recently, we had a long conversation with him. We discussed his upcoming film, his bond with dad, co-stars Vijay Varma & Jatin Sarna and also Akshay Kumar.

Yes! Since Paresh Rawal & Akshay share a great offscreen and onscreen bond and even Aditya has assisted director Umesh Shukla on the sets of OMG: Oh My God!, it was kind of necessary to ask him about when did he meet Akshay last and what kind of bond they share.

Here’s what Aditya said when we asked him about his last meeting with Akshay.

EXCLUSIVE: Paresh Rawal’s Son & ‘Bamfaad’ Actor Aditya Rawal Is Still Looking Forward To Meet Akshay Kumar, Here’s Why

“I think I met him when I was very very young…”

When we asked if he didn’t meet him on the sets of OMG, He said, “During OMG, I wasn’t on the schedule, Akshay Sir was”

When asked if he never visited Paresh Ji on the sets while he shot along with Akshay, Aditya added, “I used to go and watch his plays but I don’t remember visiting him on the sets as a child. Me and my brother, we were always very independent, we were always immersed in our own lives whether it is academics or sports or college theaters we didn’t really spend a lot of time with dad on sets.

Talking further about never meeting Akshay recently, Aditya said, “Not really in the recent past. I’d love to, he is an absolute legend in his own right. I deeply love his work and look forward to the opportunity of meeting him.”

We also asked Aditya about how many times he has seen Hera Pheri and he said, “I’ve watched it many times. I’ve actually watched it completely, start to finish 3-4 times. Rest I end up watching it whenever it comes on television or someone else is watching it. That way it goes to double digits.”

When asked if he is waiting for Hera Pheri 3, he simply asked, Aren’t we all?”

Directed by Ranjan Chandel and also starring Shalini Pandey & Vipin Katyal, Bamfaad will be streaming on Zee5 from April 10. The film has been produced by Ajay Rai and presented by Anurag Kashyap. Ranjan Chandel and Hanzalah Shahid have written it.
