Nithya Menen has been making a lot of noise lately for Breathe: Into The Shadows. She will be seen in the lead alongside Abhishek Bachchan. The Amazon Prime web series is a crime thriller and will hit the digital world on July 10.
For the unversed, Nithya made her Bollywood debut with Mission Mangal. She starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Sonakshi Sinha in the film. The actress has quite a good rapport with our Khiladi Kumar. Such that Menen exclusively told Koimoi about the time when she showed her his Laxmmi Bomb look!
Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb is actually a remake of Tamil movie, Muni 2: Kanchana. Co-incidentally, Nithya Menen has been a part of the 3rd instalment of the Tamil franchise. She played the role of Ganga in the film.

When asked about what she has to say about Akshay Kumar’s look in Laxmmi Bomb, Nithya Menen made the big revelation. “He showed it to me while we were shooting itself. He showed me some ideas and stuff that he had for it. It’s great.”
We also asked Nithya if she feels it is difficult for South Indian actors to foray into Bollywood. She responded, “I don’t agree at all that it is difficult. If we are interested, there is definitely a possibility. Since the beginning of Hindi cinema, we have had South actors being a part always.”
Nithya Menen made her acting debut with Hollywood film, ‘The Monkey Who Knew Too Much.’ When we asked her if she consciously did not go forward with more Hollywood flicks, “It was just a one-time thing. And I was in school, so it was important that I study. So that’s what I did.”
