Kota Factory actor Jitendra Kumar witnessed a huge leap in his career when he was roped in for Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The film also led by Ayushmann Khurrana revolved around the subject of homosexuality and witnessed Jitendra as his lover. However, things took a turn when rumours surfaced around a fallout between the two, but truth has now been unveiled.
For the unversed, during the promotions of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, gossip mill had it that Jitendra Kumar and Ayushmann Khurrana had a tiff and owing to the same, the duo was skipping a lot of promotional activities. However, in an exclusive conversation with us now, the Panchayat actor has rubbished all the rumours.
When asked about the same, the actor shared said, “What, really? Na maine aisa kahi padha hai, na aisa hua. Aisa kuch possible hi nahi hai, Ayushmann bohot senior actor hai mujhse. Meri pehli film 2020 me aayi, and unki pehli 2011-12 me aayi thi. So, he’s way senior than me and I have huge respect for him as an actor, as a friend, as a co-actor. There’s nothing like that. If I would have heard about this back then, I would have upfront reacted to it.”

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, a romantic comedy was directed by Hitesh Kewalya. The film even witnessed Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo amongst others in pivotal roles. Bhumi Pednekar made a special appearance too, to continue the legacy started with Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017)
Meanwhile, Jitendra Kumar will be next seen in TVF’s Panchayat. Talking about the same, the actor also shared, “It is a story of varied characters. There are a lot of people from the village and there’s a guy called Abhishek who struggles for his job at the Panchayat. It’s different from the usual perspective of a village, and we’ve worked in a way to change that perception of the society.”
