Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has penned a down a book called, ‘The Kiss of Life- How a Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer’ which describes journey of his 6-year son Ayaan, and his victorious fight against cancer. The book is co-authored with Bilal Siddiqi.

This book showcases the physical pain of his child, who was diagnosed with cancer when he was just 3 years and 10 months old. It also expresses Emraan’s personal and emotional struggles and stage from diagnosis to treatment of his son’s battle with cancer.

According to reports, the idea of writing the book came from the best-selling author Hussain Zaidi, who insisted him (Emraan) to document the journey when it was fresh in his mind. The book also reflects of how Emraan bounced back against the depression and developed a strong sense of empathy.

With this book named, ‘The Kiss of Life- How a Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer‘ which releases in April in English, Hindi and Marathi languages, Emraan Hashmi hopes to provide comfort and guidance to those, whose loved ones and near ones are battling with the cancer.
