Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who made his big-screen debut with Vicky Donor, is well known all across for his choice of (diverse) roles. The dashing actor who was last seen on big screens in critically acclaimed Article 15, is all geared up for his upcoming release Dream Girl, which has the National Award-winning actor portraying role a guy who dons saree to play Sita and Radha in theatrical plays and can also speak in different voices of women.

The actor in an interview to the Mumbai Mirror stated that it wasn’t easy for him to play the character of Lokesh Bisht aka Pooja, as it is tough for a mainstream actor to get skin deep into the character similar to the ones in ‘Dream Girl‘, which one gets to see in the trailer of the film.

“None of the mainstream actors have played a role like this, but I love doing tricky stuff though I was scared to wear a sari on the first day. It got easier as we went along though I still don’t know how to drape one. But eventually, it’s all about how you internalize the character and get the body language right,” said Ayushmann

Talking about the film, so far the trailer of the ‘Dream Girl‘ and song Radhe Radhe, has been very well received by the audience.

The film has Nushrat Bharucha opposite Ayushmann in lead, along with Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz in major roles.

Dream Girl is been directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, and it is been produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Productions.

The film is slated to hit big screens on 13th September.
