Dostana 2: This Debutant To Join Kartik Aaryan & Janhvi Kapoor As A Third Lead?

Recently we learnt that Karan Johar’s upcoming movie is Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan. The original Dostana which featured Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham was a hit amongst the masses. The sequel project has been launched after 11 years and apart from Kartik and Janhvi, the sequel will also feature another male actor and we just got some interesting piece of news on it.

Now if the latest reports floating in are to be believed, the second male character will be portrayed by Fateh Randhawa, who is the nephew of Tabu. A source close to Bollywood Bubble has confirmed the same. For those who don’t know Fateh is the son of veteran actress Farah (Naaz) and Vindu Dara Singh. The couple has divorced. And Vindu is currently married to Dina Umarova.

Some previous reports also suggested that Rajkummar Rao will be seen alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Some also roped in Sidharth Malhotra.

The first Dostana was a take on two men who pretend to be a gay couple, in order to secure an apartment. Both fall in love with the same girl. In an earlier interview with DNA Karan Johar had said, “I am thrilled to take the franchise forward with Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor. This is Dharma’s first film with Kartik and we are excited to work with him! We can’t wait to create some desi boy and girl madness with him and Janhvi. We will also introduce a male lead in this film who will join the incredible talent at Dharma”.
