The Ajay Devgan and Emraan Hashmi starrer, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, has managed to take a decent start at the box-office, garnering an all India box-office nett collection of Rs. 15 crore (Rs. 150 million) in its opening weekend. The Friday collections of the Madhur Bhandarkar film were Rs. 4 crore. Saturday saw a 20 percent jump in collections over Friday, to Rs. 4.8 crore. The Sunday box-office collections went up by another 20 percent over Saturday, to clock Rs. 6.2 crore.

Interestingly, there was more than a 50 percent rise in the collections, if you compare the Friday and Sunday figures (Rs. 4 to Rs 6.2 crore).
Generally, Ajay Devgan’s films are slow-starters, with the obvious exception of Golmaal 3, which was a multi-starrer and a big franchise. Even Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, in which Emraan and Ajay were in the lead roles, had opened slow but the collections picked up over Saturday and Sunday. After that, obviously, the film went on to do wonderful business at the box-office.
