There was only a two year gap between Dhoom (2004) and its sequel Dhoom:2 (2006) but Dhoom:3 seems to be taking forever! Yash Raj Films have rubbished all claims that the film is being postponed because of Aamir Khan’s prior commitments. In an official statement, YRF stated that the shooting for Dhoom:3 would start in May 2012 with Aamir joining them in June, as per schedule.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, Dhoom:3 is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. While Aamir plays the anti-hero in the film, the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
Dhoom:3 is set to release in 2013.
