SLB’s upcoming magnum opus Padmavati featuring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor recently went on the floors at a suburban studio in Mumbai.

A picture, rather a sketch of Deepika Padukone went viral on social media platforms recently, which was said to be the actress’ look as Padmavati. However, soon the casting director of the film Shruti Mahajan, clarified on Twitter, claiming it as a fake one.

She tweeted, “To immediately clarify that the sketch floating of Deepika Padukone was not posted from my official account@rohiniyer @ShobhaIyerSant”

She further added, “It is nowhere like Deepika’s look in the film and it’s definitely not from me @ShobhaIyerSant @rohiniyer @MediaRaindrop.”

Padmavati is set to hit the screens on 17th November, 2017.
