Deepika Padukone’s Martial Arts Lessons

Her last chance was to fight with and alongside Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone has gone a step further now. Deepika is already preparing for her action role opposite Rajnikanth in the superstar’s upcoming film, Rana.

Deepika, who played a double role in Chandni Chowk To China (2009), got to spar with Akki in a few scenes in the film. Now, for her role in ‘Rana’, she will go through a month of intensive martial arts training. We wonder whether she will get to some of the cool stunts a la Rajni, or we’ll end up seeing her body double do all the stunts with just close ups of DP’s pretty face.
