Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh have been one of the most successful onscreen couples. They have given back to back highly successful films like Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani & Padmaavat and are now set to feature in upcoming much-awaited film ’83.

But apart from just being a successful onscreen couple, they are going strong offscreen as well. In less than two months, the couple will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary. As Deepika attended the MAMI film festival in Mumbai recently, she spoke in length about her bonding with Ranveer both onscreen and offscreen. She also talked about how their working styles are totally different from each other and Ranveer is a new man every 6 months. This is not it as Deepika also opened up about the working style of Ranbir Kapoor with whom she has done films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani & Tamasha.

Deepika has been quoted as saying, “Ranbir doesn’t really have a process; he is very spontaneous. I have never really seen him ‘prepare’ for his role as such. He’s like me in that respect. Our approach is 50% rehearsed and 50% spontaneous. “

Talking about Ranveer she said, “Ranveer on the other hand, really gets into the process. He changes everything for the role – right from the car he drives, to the clothes and the perfume he wears. He’s a different person every six months, which is probably one of the reasons why our relationship has lasted so long; I never get bored.”

She further added, “If you see Ranveer and I on set, we are very different than what we are otherwise. We may not even sometimes drive together because we are in a different headspace. It’s not on purpose. There’s no expectation of behaving like husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend when you’re working. In ’83, I’m not thinking whether he’s my husband as there’s so much to think about at that moment, the scenes, the lines. Your mind is occupied and you’re performing like your character and all those things come into play.”
