Deepika Padukone has been very vocal about mental health and her journey with depression. But the Piku actress is not limited to words. The actress has set up a foundation called The Live Love Laugh to fight and create awareness about various mental health issues apart of depression.

Now in a bid to further promote her initiative and in the wake of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, Deepika Padukone has started yet another campaign, #DobaaraPoocho. It is a powerful campaign that urges people to look out for their loved ones. But more importantly, through the campaign, DP stresses the importance of asking people to check on their loved ones even if they say everything is fine.

Taking to her official IGTV handle, Deepika Padukone shared the 4:00 minute video with a caption that read, “#DobaraPoocho Now more than ever we need to be sensitive and support the emotional needs of those around us…#DobaraPoocho #MentalHealthMatters”

Deepika Padukone opened up about her battle with depression and has strived at creating awareness around the issue and also destigmatising it. For those of you unaware, early this year, Deepika was felicitated with the Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum for her contribution to the area of mental health.

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone was last seen on the silver screen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak alongside Vikrant Massey.
