In a date of dates, actress Deepika Padukone met veteran actor Shammi Kapoor at his residence in Bombay on April 6. While the duo discussed films and Deepika’s Bollywood career, meeting the An Evening In Paris star was the highlight for Deepika. Right after the date, a jubilant Deepika said, “By far, one of the best and most memorable days of my life! Thank you, Shammi uncle, for a wonderful evening.”
The duo had been bonding over micro-blogging website Twitter for quite some time and it was Shammi Kapoor who had invited Deepika on March 12. Many tweets and postponements later, the Love Aaj Kal actress finally met with Shammi Kapoor!
