Not many actresses from this generation have managed to get the privilege of working with David Dhawan. The filmmaker who a few years back was witnessing a slump is back in good shape again. Ask Ileana D’Cruz who will be seen in David Dhawan’s next about whether the senior filmmaker has the required chemistry with youngsters and she affirms, ” Yes absolutely. Davidji is very naughty. He was the biggest prankster on the sets and his energy was obviously contagious.”
So how was it working with him, D’Cruz replies, ” It was quite a privilege for me. Though I have not watched much of Hindi films, his name has still always been synonymous with fun. His Biwi No. 1 is my all time favorite film. Working with him always made me feel that I am working with family.”
The actress volunteered more on her equation with Senior Dhawan. She added, ” He knew the real me. I might seem very docile but there is a side of me which recognized immediately. He tells me ‘I know you are a kamini’. I am definitely going to miss all the fondness attached with this film.”
