Buzz was that ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be again sharing screen space with Sanjay Dutt’s biopic by Rajkumar Hirani. According to several reports, Katrina was to play Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata Dutt on screen and apparently had even read the script.
But a latest report by Bollywoodlife, who spoke with director Rajkumar Hirani, claims that Katrina is not finalised for the role. Rajkumar firmly rubbished these rumours and said that the news is not true. So, basically the casting of the movie is yet to be finalised.

Ranbir-Katrina are currently wrapping up the shooting for their film Jagga Jasoos, after which Ranbir will begin shooting for Dutt’s biopic.

For the biopic, the Tamasha actor will go under immense physical training to look as bulky as Sanjay Dutt. The movie is slated to release in Christmas 2017.
