The film’s trailer that released yesterday is reflective of every shade that has prevailed in Rohit Shetty’s signature style films. A delicious blend of laughter and action, Shetty’s brand of entertainment is in no mood to deliver a lag this time.
Chennai Express, from its first trailer seems like a masala film packaged in a Southern Rajnikanth ala action container, will see King Khan in a role very different from the romantic image we have of him. Attempting to get more versatility in his work, in the last few hours, SRK performs with a visible gusto.
Deepika, too, refuses to settle for a side aid to the actor. She on the other hand is oozing stronger screen presence, basking under the glories of her new found confidence. With a brilliant Southern twang, the actress won’t be a fail show!
The Deepika-SRK chemistry that came out wonderfully in Om Shanti Om will show a higher dimension. One of the trailer’s high points is Deepika and SRK dancing in their lungis, will surely crack you up.
The film’s stunts look spectacular and knowing Rohit Shetty’s expertise over his niche, the film with its spell binding stunts will thrill you and with its rollicking humor will have you rolling!
Overall, Chennai Express trailer gives a very favorable view of the film. The pressure of performance is extremely high on them. Eid being reserved for Salman Khan’s Dabangg-like hits, it is the first time SRK is serving a film to the market Salman has got to own over 3 years!
