Bollywood actress Dia Mirza separating with husband Sahil Sangha came as a shock to everyone. After dating for six long years, they got married in 2014 and this decision of separation has surprised not just Dia’s fans but their friends and family also. Just after Dia and Sahil announced their separation, Judgementall Hai Kya writer Kanika Dhillon too announced her separation with director husband Prakash Kovelamudi. But are these two divorces connected?

Well, it would be too early to say that but going by the reports by Mumbai Mirror, the closed source revealed that everything changed in just last one month. Yes, because Dia’s PDA with husband Sahil on their Japan trip in January was a treat to eyes.

Dia was last seen in ‘Kaafir’ opposite Mohit Raina and her closeness to him is one of the reasons speculated for their separation. Apart from that, Sahil’s closeness also grew with Kanika Dhillon and that’s what made them take this decision, hence both the couple announced their divorce almost at the same time.

Kanika and Prakash spoke about their separation and said, “Yes, we did split but not during Judgementall Hai Kya. It happened two years ago, much before the cameras rolled on the film.”
