Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao starring Ishq Vishk was released way back in 2003 and received praises because of it’s sweet but oh-so-charming love story. It was being speculated that Ishq-Vishk will be getting a sequel a few months back. While everyone got so excited hearing the news, there were also speculations doing the rounds as to who will be playing the lead roles in the movie. And who can be better but Shahid’s own brother Ishaan Khatter playing the lead in the sequel of the movie.
Recently a close source to Pinkvilla has revealed that Ishaan has being considered to play the male lead in the movie. A source quoted, “The makers are currently working on the script for the movie. Ishq Vishq was very young in nature, and hence, who better than Ishaan Khatter, who exhibits the required charm and innocence for the role. Apparently, the idea has been discussed with Ishaan but that’s it.” But nothing has been finalised as of yet. Discussions have been going on for a while and it’ll be too early to make a statement.

Ishaan made her debut with Iranian director Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds opposite Malvika Mohanan and gave a critically acclaimed performance. He then went on to do a movie under Dharma Productions, Dhadak, with late Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and since then this young duo has been making headlines.
