Once again, it was Salman Khan’s Ready that led the collections in the weekend of June 17 – 19, 2011. The film scored over last week’s releases, Bheja Fry 2, Always Kabhi Kabhi and others.
While the 3rd weekend all-India net collection of ‘Ready’ was a total of Rs. 8 crore (80 million), the comedy ‘Bheja Fry 2’ made around Rs. 6.4 crore to 6.5 crore. As Koimoi.com had predicted, ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ made only around 1.25 crore for 3 days!

Bhindi Baazaar Inc. and Cycle Kick did dismal business. Bin Bulaye Baraati did reasonable business in the single screen cinemas but it did very poor business in the multiplexes. Since collections from multiplexes constitute a major chunk of total collections, the film was dull overall.

The day-wise collections of ‘Ready’ (3rd weekend) were as follows: Friday – 1.75 cr., Saturday – 2.25 cr., Sunday – 4 cr. Total: Rs. 8 cr.
The day-wise collections of ‘Bheja Fry 2’ (1st weekend) were as follows: Friday – 2 cr., Saturday 2.05 cr., Sunday – 2.35 cr. Total: Rs. 6.4 cr.
While ‘Ready’ continues to shine at the box-office, all eyes are now set on Double Dhamaal, which releases on June 24th.
