Salman Khan, after being unable to target Mental for Eid this year, has decided to shift the release of the film to Gandhi Jayanti (2nd October). Given Salman’s popularity, Mental is already expected to be one of highest grosser of 2013. Directed by his brother Sohail Khan, it will be an all Salman Khan genre of entertainment film.
Looks like, there will another bitter competition creeping in around the same time. Mental is expected to clash with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Besharam. The film is being directed by Abhinav Kashyap, the director of Dabangg. Kashyap and Arbaaz Khan soured their relationship, when Kashyap refused to direct a sequel of Dabangg.

There are also reports doing rounds in the media of Salman Khan apparently being upset with Ranbir Kapoor as Kapoor is currently dating Katrina Kaif, informs our sources. However the credibility of this information is highly debatable and is just a mere speculation probably.

The professional and personal differences between them will boil down into an interesting battle between the films at the box office. It was in 2008 that Ranbir and Salman warred at the box office last over Bachna Ae Haseeno and God Tussi Great Ho. Both Salman and Ranbir have created their individual fan base since then, which has grown exceedingly over time. The clash of these Titans will surely make for an excellent watch this year.
