While smoking on screen may put Bollywood stars in trouble, that’s not stopping them from lighting the cigarette off-screen. Let’s have a look at the smoking habits of some of the stars –
Shah Rukh Khan
King Khan is hooked to his pack of Marlboro light and smokes like a chimney. While the star has been advised to quit smoking after his surgery, Shah Rukh Khan just can’t seem to keep his hands off his cigarettes.
Salman Khan
While Salman’s loves his pack of Marlboros, they also tend to put the actor in legal trouble. In 2009, Salman got in trouble with the law after he was found lighting a cigarette inside a train bogie while shooting in Mohali.
Hrithik Roshan
The actor who claims to have picked up smoking on the sets of Guzaarish while preparing for his character, is stuck to his Marlboro cigarettes now. While Hrithik did try to quit in between (he wanted to quit cold turkey without the use of nicotine patches), last heard, his efforts proved unsuccessful.
Ajay Devgan
Smoking in public has put Ajay Devgan in trouble in Goa and Chandigarh. But Ajay still can’t let go of his Marlboro red cigarettes.
Arjun Rampal
Arjun Rampal claimed to stop smoking before the release of Raajneeti but could not keep away from his cigarettes for too long. The actor wanted to kick the butt for the sake of his daughters.
Ronit Roy
The Udaan star smokes 20-25 cigarettes a day but has decided to quit smoking in a week’s time. Good luck to him!
The Other Smokers
Sanjay Dutt, Sushmita Sen & Kangna Ranaut like their Marlboro lights while R. Madhavan smokes the occasional cigar.
The Fire Brigade
On the other hand, Bollywood stars like Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty keep away from the cancer sticks. In fact, Shahid Kapoor is even a teetotaller and a pure vegetarian.
