The 2002 Box Office bomb Raaz from the Bhatt camp left many a fanatics wanting for more. Gradually came Raaz 2 and Raaz 3. People found the eclectic storyline teamed with the fresh Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu pairing irresistible then. What added to this visual treat was the amazing music. Raaz bagged a gross Box Office income of around INR 195000000 in India alone.
Now let us review the credits. While Vikram Bhatt did direct it, Mahesh Bhatt and Girish Dhamija took credits for script writing and dialogue writing. But for avid cine goers it was hard to not find humongous similarities between Raaz and the 2000 release What Lies Beneath. This Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer starrer was directed by Robert Zemeckis. The writing credits go to Clark Gregg and Sarah Kernochan. There are remarkable similarities in the two films especially after intermission. The eerie screams and specter only add to the feeling.
