“Humari filmon ki tarah humari zindagi mein bhi end mein sab theek ho jaata hai. Happys Endings. Aur agar, aur agar theek na ho to woh the end nahin hai dosto, picture abhi baaki hai”. Bollywood is a dream world which indulges us and inspires us to have a relationship ending up in love stories just like the reel life. But the inside story has a dark side as well.
The Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia case is just an addition to the long list of Bollywood affairs and relationships going sour.
The so called celebrated couple “Neetu-Rishi” who have given films with hit chemistry have also had troubles with their marriage, although nothing went too serious there and out of league.
But that is not the case with couples like Yukta Mookhey and Prince Tuli. Yukta Mookhey Quoted “Their family has a psychological problems”. Yukta divorced Tulli after filling domestic violence case.
Dimpy Ganguly who married Rahul Mahajan on a reality show also filed a domestic violence and abuse case against him. It’s not the first time that this has happened, the couple might get separated soon according to the latest reports.
Even Salman has been branded as “Man with a violent streak”. The Ash and Salman Case was out and loud in the open with Aish filling charges like stalking, threatening and forcefully entering her house. Well though Salman went Scott free but that did end the relationship on a bad note.
It isn’t that this violent streak has come into picture with the current younger generation, in fact it has been there from the beginning. Eminent actors like Om Puri too gave a lot to gossip when wife Nandita filed a case of abuse against him.
No one is spared in the industry; Gulzar too came under the radar when wife Raakhee came out in press mentioning the verbal abuse done to her. Actress Zeenat Aman filed for a divorce on the same basis.
So, the reel and real life of Bollywood is actually miles apart, with only peep holes to look into their world, which in fact shows the flip side of the coin. Romance goes out of window and what’s left is miles apart from a “Happy Endings”.
