Bharat: Is This Salman Khan’s Look For Ali Abbas Zafar’s Next?

There’s been a lot of buzz around Salman Khan’s upcoming project Bharat. With the actor reuniting with Priyanka Chopra on-screen after almost a decade, there are a lot of speculations surrounding the film. Recently a picture of the actor surfaced on the internet, touted as his look for the film.

The picture was uploaded by one of Salman Khan’s fan clubs on Twitter. The picture showed the actor in his home, with one of his fans. The caption read, “#Bharat Look… #SalmanKhan with a Fan at Galaxy Apartment!”

The film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who is working with the actor for the 3rd time. The actor-director duo previously worked together on Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. According to the director, the pre-production of his upcoming film Bharat is on in full swing. After much speculation, Priyanka Chopra was officially announced as a member of the cast. This is what the director tweeted a few hours ago:

“Bharat is rooted in India and its culture despite it spanning over 70 years and set across various countries of the world,” said the director. “Her character is the soul of the film, and throughout, she stands shoulder to shoulder with Salman Khan in the journey. She is the catalyst in the film’s most important turning point,” Ali added.

Talking about his casting decision, he said, “As the love story in Bharat is very mature and quite subtle, we needed an actor who could portray this in the best possible way.”

The film will feature Salman sporting five different looks spanning 60 years, wherein a crucial part will showcase the actor in his late 20s, looking much leaner and younger. The film, produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, will release on Eid 2019.
